Lizzo Just Made Vegan Ice Cream Bread with Ben & Jerry’s Netflix and Chilll’d Flavor

Award-winning musician Lizzo recently shared an innovative vegan dish with her 8.5 million followers on TikTok: vegan ice cream bread. Lizzo created the dish by combining Ben & Jerry’s new vegan ice cream flavor Netflix and Chill’d—which features a peanut butter ice cream base with sweet and salty pretzel swirls and fudge brownies—with traditional dry bread ingredients and baked the mixture until it set into a loaf. “It’s good but I’m gonna make it into French toast for brunch,” Lizzo captioned the post. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lizzo has been cooking up a storm with a variety of vegan dishes she frequently shares on TikTok. In April, the musician kicked off her quarantine cooking by veganizing the McDonald’s McChicken sandwich. In May, Lizzo shared a recipe for vegan meat-and-cheese Jamaican patties using MorningStar Farms meat crumbles, Follow Your Heart’s Vegan Egg, and Tofutti vegan cream cheese. Last month, Lizzo treated her followers to a recipe for fried chicken and sausage biscuits in which she used oyster mushrooms to replace chicken and vegan JUST Egg in place of animal-derived eggs to create the biscuit component.
