Girl Scout Cookie season is about to get a major vegan upgrade. For its 2027 lineup, Girl Scouts of the USA is introducing Sparkables, its first-ever cookie developed specifically to accommodate people navigating common food allergies—and it’s vegan.

Created in partnership with allergy-friendly brand Partake, Sparkables are crunchy oatmeal cookies studded with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. The cookies are made in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens, including milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, sesame, fish, and shellfish. Partake’s existing lineup is also certified vegan, gluten-free, and free from the top nine allergens.

Where to get the new vegan Girl Scout cookie

Sparkables will be available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning January 12, 2027, when the national Girl Scout Cookie season kicks off. They’ll join other vegan-friendly favorites including Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, and Lemonades. As with other Girl Scout Cookie purchases, proceeds from Sparkables will support local councils and troops, funding everything from outdoor adventures and STEM programs to community service and leadership development.

But Girl Scouts are expanding the cookie experience beyond humans, too. The organization is also launching Patch Pals, its first-ever cookie made specifically for dogs. Developed with pet brand BARK, the soft-baked treats are blueberry muffin-flavored and feature four Girl Scout-inspired “patch” designs.

There is one important distinction for vegan Girl Scout Cookie fans: Patch Pals are not vegan, as the treats contain honey. They’re intended exclusively for canine consumption.

Both new products are online exclusives, giving consumers another way to participate in the annual cookie tradition. And while Sparkables marks a first for the Girl Scouts, the partnership also marks another high-profile collaboration for Partake, the Black-owned, women-led brand founded by Denise Woodard.
