Vegan brand Silk launched an oat-based yogurt line under its Oat Yeah label this month. The line includes four flavors—Vanilla, Mixed Berry, Strawberry, and Mango—and is sold for $1.89 per 5.3-ounce cup. Earlier this year, the Danone-owned brand launched its Oat Yeah line which features oat milk in three flavors: The Plain One, The Vanilla One, and The Chocolate One, and is now available in retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Publix. “Creating a yogurt alternative was the natural next step after our well-received Silk Oat Yeah Oatmilk beverage launch earlier this year,” Joshua Cook, brand manager of plant-based yogurt for Silk, said. “Oat Yeah Oatmilk Yogurt Alternatives are a tasty option for any person looking to make progress toward their health and wellness goals—whether they have specific dietary needs or are simply looking to try something new.” In addition to Silk, several brands have recently added oat-based yogurts to their product portfolios, including non-vegan brand Nancy’s Probiotic Foods which launched its Oatmilk non-dairy yogurt line earlier this year.
