Matcha is everywhere right now, and Oatly isn’t one to miss out on the hype. The popular Swedish oat milk brand has launched new Matcha Latte Oat Drinks—made with Tencha matcha, oat milk, and vanilla—in UK supermarkets. “Oatly Matcha Latte Oat Drink offers a premium café experience, carton convenience, and fancy taste without the endless queues,” states the brand.
Pressed Juicery’s wellness smoothies now available at Costco
Popular California juice brand Pressed Juicery has launched Functional Wellness Smoothie Multipacks in 550 Costco stores across the US. “We created our Functional Wellness Smoothies as a clean, satisfying alternative to the sugar-loaded options saturating the market,” said Justin Nedelman, CEO of Pressed Juicery, in a statement. “This Costco-exclusive pack was designed for today’s wellness-driven consumer. Costco is the perfect partner to bring this offering to life, as we share a commitment to providing accessible, high-quality wellness products to health-minded shoppers nationwide.”
Starbucks unveils pecan oat milk drinks for fall
It may still be summer, but Starbucks is gearing up for the launch of its fall menu. And while the chain’s famous Pumpkin Spice Latte still isn’t vegan, patrons can get their fix of fall-inspired sips with Starbucks’ returning Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte and the new Pecan Oatmilk Cortado, an espresso-forward entry built for minimalist seasonal sipping.
The fall menu is available starting August 26. For those looking to make their own brews at home, Starbucks has also unveiled new non-dairy creamers, including its first Maple Pecan Latte Inspired Non-Dairy Creamer made with oat milk. For the full details, check out our story here.
New Hippeas Grillo’s Pickles now at Costco
Back in March, Hippeas announced it was collaborating with popular pickle spear brand Grillo’s Pickles to create a new tangy flavor: Dill Pickle Puffs. According to Hippeas, the puffs are “unapologetically Dill-ish.” The snacks have been available at stores like Sprouts and Stop & Shop ever since, and now, they’ve landed in Costco locations, too.

Bakery chain Insomnia Cookies has launched a new vegan cookie inspired by fried ice cream. The new vanilla cookie treat is stuffed with vanilla buttercream and topped with cinnamon toast crumbs. The popular chain also offers Vegan Double Chocolate Chunk and Vegan Chocolate Chunk cookies.

Thai Michelin Green Star restaurant Jampa launches plant-forward menu
Jampa, a Michelin Green Star restaurant in Phuket, Thailand, has launched a new plant-forward, seven-course menu inspired by nature. The new meat-free menu, which is made up of locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients, is particularly unique because it involves open-flame cooking techniques to infuse more flavor into vegetables. Traditionally, this technique is reserved for meat.
“Cooking with vegetables isn’t just a trend—it’s a way to nourish the soul with passion and responsibility. I’ve always dreamed of creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind experiences for guests at JAMPA—honest, heartfelt, and sustainable,” head chef Rick Dingen said in a statement.
Quorn scores more than $24 million amid ‘pivotal year’
British mycoprotein brand Quorn has raised more than $24 million. The money will help the company pay off its debts, as well as give its products an image overhaul. “2025 will be a pivotal year for Quorn, and we have big plans ahead,” Quorn’s CEO Davil Flochel said in a statement. He added, “We are starting to make progress. The hard work is beginning to pay off, and I am delighted to be leading the transformation.”
Cameron Diaz’s organic wine brand collabs with Stella McCartney
Avaline, the clean, organic wine brand founded by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power, has collaborated with Stella McCartney. The top British designer has created a new bold and modern label for Avaline’s vegan-friendly, low-sugar French rosé. “My Avaline design has this edgy 2000s aesthetic that reminds me of the early days with Cameron,” said McCartney in a statement. “I cherish and celebrate how our friendship only gets better with time, and love how we can always come together to cheers our shared passions for nature, animals, and organic, vegan wine.”
A new range of cookie and chocolate vegan spreads is about to drop at Aldi
According to vegan Instagram account Big Box Vegan, Aldi is about to start stocking three new vegan-friendly spreads: Speculoos Crunchy Cookie Butter, Speculoos Creamy Cookie Butter, and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter. “Check your local stores for some of these as you never know where and when things show up,” the post reads.
Tequila Flora
New vegan creamy tequila brand launches in the UK
Tequila Flora is a unique new British liqueur brand specializing in creamy, tequila-based drinks. The drinks, which are packaged in paper bottles, are made with Mexican tequila and coconut milk, and come in two tasty flavors: strawberry and chocolate. “I’ve been in the alcohol industry for about ten years,” Emily Timberlake told Bristol 24/7. “I wanted to create something truly sustainable and for women. I also wanted to create something that everybody can enjoy.”
More than $443 million invested in alternative protein in the first half of 2025
It’s been a positive year of growth for the alternative protein sector. Per Vegconomist, in the first half of 2025, the industry saw 54 deals, which added up to more than $443 million. Most of these investments were made in the plant-based or fermentation categories, the publication notes. The biggest sector was plant-based meat, with dairy-free products following behind. It notes that some of the key investments were made in brands like Beyond Meat, Heura, and Rival Foods.
