Third Outpost of Plant Power Fast Food Opens in CA

San Diego-based vegan chain Plant Power Fast Food (PPFF) will open its third location in Redlands, CA by July. The outpost will feature indoor and outdoor seating and take-out service, and will be situated in a shopping plaza next to a pilates studio. PPFF’s first location opened in 2016, and the eatery currently operates two Southern California locations—where it serves veganized American fast food dishes such as its take on McDonald’s Big Mac, the “Big Zac,” named after co-owner Zach Vouga. “Our goal has always been to make delicious plant-based fast food to be available to as many people as possible,” PPFF co-founder Jeffrey Harris told VegNews. “When we discovered Redlands, we knew that it would be the perfect place for our third location. We’re really excited to be part of the community there.” The company, Harris said, is currently looking to expand to more locations in Orange County and Los Angeles regions.
