Today, vegan brand Beyond Meat announced that its popular Beyond Burgers are now available at many Costco stores nationwide, including those in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Massachusetts, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, and more. Costco is selling the vegan burgers in four-packs (eight patties total) for $14.99. The Costco partnership represents Beyond Meat’s move into club stores, a new sector of the retail channel for the vegan brand. In 2016, Beyond Meat first debuted its now popular vegan burgers at a single Whole Foods Market store in Boulder, CO and has since expanded to more than 58,000 retailers and foodservice providers globally. In recent years, Costco has added several vegan burgers to its shelves, including Awesome Burger (made by Nestlé’s Sweet Earth) and Don Lee Farms’ Organic Plant-Based Burger—which sold 1 million units in less than 60 days when it hit Costco shelves last year.
