Trader Joe’s dairy-free Soy Creamy Cherry Chocolate Chip ice cream is back by popular demand at the supermarket chain’s locations nationwide. A member of the closed Facebook group Vegan Trader Joe’s recently posted a photo of the ice cream they spotted at a location in Manhattan Beach, CA, saying there were only a few tubs left. Another user posted about finding it in Oceanside, NY. “So happy that my local Trader Joe’s (Oceanside, NY) finally has the cherry chocolate chip back in stock,” the member said. “Also found the new oat milk. [I] haven’t tried it yet, what are your thoughts on taste?” Earlier this year, shoppers noticed the ice cream flavor disappeared from store shelves. Since then, users in the group have been sharing their tips on how to lobby Trader Joe’s to bring it back, which included emailing and calling in their requests to the company’s corporate headquarters.
