Zagat—the well-known guide to restaurants around the world—has named a vegan restaurant as the number one place to dine in Philadelphia. In its just-released survey, Vedge tops the list with unmatched rankings in food, decor, service, and price. According to Zagat, “it seems unbelievable to make a radish taste better than lobster, but Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby do the astounding at their endlessly inventive holy grail of vegan restaurants … there is nothing else like it in the city.” Vedge has received significant media attention since its 2011 opening and was named VegNews’ 2012 Restaurant of the Year.
