Why buy popsicles when you can so easily make them at home? These frozen treats are creamy, chocolaty, and, yes, healthy.

What you need:

3 cups bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces
⅔ cup soy milk
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons brown rice syrup or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

What you do:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into 8 molds and insert sticks. Freeze until solid, at least 8 hours or overnight.
  3. To remove ice pops from molds, let sit at room temperature for several minutes or dip molds quickly into hot water. Serve immediately. Want a twist on your pops? Add mint extract, orange zest, chili powder, or nut butter.
