Wu-Tang’s RZA Launches Limited Edition Vegan Puffer Jacket 

Fashion brand 36 Chambers (co-founded by Wu-Tang member RZA) and German vegan brand Embassy of Bricks and Logs (EBL) collaborated to develop the Flying Guillotine Puffer Jacket, a limited edition vegan jacket now available for purchase through 36 Chambers. Instead of cruelly-begotten down feathers, the winter jacket is stuffed with 100-percent recycled ocean plastic. “As we evolve as a people through technology and ingenuity, we have the ability through humane ways to fashion garments that not only serve our purpose but also, more importantly, abandon the unnecessary cruelty to animals,” RZA said. EBL and 36 Chambers will donate 15 percent of proceeds from the $336 jacket to animal-rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)—as the organization connected the two clothing brands for the collaboration. In addition to creating the new jacket, RZA has spent many years helping animals, most recently with an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast where he told the host that “no animal needs to die for me to live.”
