This week, Texas-based brand NadaMoo! expanded distribution of its vegan ice cream pints to select Target locations in 40 states and select Walmart locations in Colorado, Louisiana, Texas, Montana, and Wyoming. The family-owned brand has made organic coconut milk-based ice cream for 14 years in flavors such as Pistachio Nut, The Rockiest Road, and Cookie Dough Fudge, along with newly released Marshmallow Stardust, Peach Cobbler, and Banana Caramel Crunch. While NadaMoo! recently expanded its distribution to outlets such as Publix and Stater Brothers—with the help of a $4 million Series A funding it secured in 2017—its partnership with Target and Walmart brings its vegan ice cream to a much wider demographic. “Since day one, it has been our goal to share NadaMoo! with as many humans as possible,” NadaMoo! CEO Daniel Nicholson told VegNews. “This new retail partnership with the largest retailer in the world is a great opportunity for our organization to bring the dairy-free movement from Texas to across the US. We are motivated to make our creamy coconut milk, plant-based ice creams conveniently available for everyone.” In addition to Target and Walmart, Jewel-Osco stores began stocking NadaMoo! pints at 188 locations in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana this week, and the brand made its anticipated debut in Canada via retailers Metro, Longo’s Markets, and Save-on-Foods.
