Grammy-nominated musical artist Doja Cat just released her first beauty line and it’s completely vegan. Made in partnership with vegan brand BH Cosmetics and inspired by Doja Cat’s fantastical imagination, all items in the new collection are priced between $9 and $36. The collection includes ultra-pigmented eyeshadow palettes, soft vegan brushes, multi-dimensional highlighters, plumping lip glosses, and more.

“Doja Cat is a true creative genius and we were honored to work alongside her to launch this special collection,” BH Cosmetics CEO Yannis Rodocanachi said in a statement. “She really is a ‘Badass with Heart’—our brand manifesto at BH—and it was such a pleasure to embark on this epic adventure to make these concepts a reality. I’m so excited for everyone to experience this incredible project. This was a truly authentic collaboration from start to finish.”

Doja Cat created the collection to help fans recreate some of her iconic and bold looks. The collaboration between BH Cosmetics was special for the musical artist as the brand was a childhood favorite of hers. “This collaboration is such a full circle moment for me,” Doja Cat said in a statement. “I grew up doodling in school and always had an artistic eye, so naturally experimenting with makeup was a huge part of my life as a teenager. One of the first shadow palettes I ever purchased was from BH Cosmetics and I’m so proud to release this collection with them.”

The collection is available now on the BH Cosmetics website and will launch at Ulta stores on October 3.

Doja Cat joins the celeb vegan beauty club

The latest projections estimate the global vegan beauty industry to be worth $20.6 billion by 2026—a significant growth from its 2020 estimated value of $15 billion. Given this opportunity, celebrities have jumped into the vegan beauty industry in full force.

Earlier this year, Grammy Award-nominated artist Halsey launched vegan makeup brand about-face, which was in development for 12 years. The line initially dropped with 40 different products all crafted with vegan ingredients that are not tested on animals. Halsey expanded about-face in September with a new futuristic Fractal collection of 21 glittery, highly pigmented, and reflective products.

Singer Selena Gomez also recently launched vegan beauty brand Rare Beauty—a brand that aims to highlight inclusivity, natural beauty, and foster mental health—at Sephora. In addition to offering a selection of vegan no fuss products, Rare Beauty donates a portion of its sales to the Rare Impact Fund, which Gomez set up with the goal of raising $100 million over the next 10 years to help increase access to mental health resources.

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea just got into the vegan makeup club with the launch of her Totally Plastic Collection at ULTA. Created in partnership with vegan cosmetics brand BH Cosmetics, the collection is inspired by memories of Azalea’s teenage years in the 2000s with a nod to the glittery, frosted hues and high-shine lip glosses.
