This month, fast-food chains Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s will become the first national quick-serve restaurants to offer Beyond Meat menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the launch of a new menu of all-day Beyond Meat items. Starting on December 18, Carl’s Jr. will launch two new breakfast offerings. The Beyond Sausage Burrito features a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty, scrambled egg, shredded dairy cheese, hashbrowns, tomatoes, and fresh salsa, served in a warm tortilla (which can be made vegan by omitting the egg and cheese). And the Beyond Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit will feature a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty topped with a dairy cheese slice and egg served on a biscuit. These new items will complement the chain’s current Beyond Meat options, the Beyond Famous Star and Beyond BBQ Cheeseburger

Starting on December 30, Hardee’s will launch two Beyond Sausage Biscuit options, a Beyond Sausage Burrito, and the Original Beyond Thickburger after a successful test in October in Raleigh, NC and St. Louis, MO. The Beyond Sausage Biscuit features a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty served on a biscuit, and the Beyond Sausage & Egg Biscuit features a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty and egg served on a biscuit. The Beyond Sausage Burrito features a Beyond Sausage patty, eggs, shredded dairy cheddar cheese, and hashbrowns on a soft tortilla (which can be made vegan by omitting the egg and cheese). The Original Beyond Thickburger features a Beyond Burger patty with dairy cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickles, ketchup, mustard, and dairy-based mayonnaise on a toasted bun (which can be made vegan if ordered without the cheese and mayo).

“Since its debut less than a year ago, Carl’s Jr. has sold more than 6.7 million Beyond Famous Star Burgers to date, making it the most successful product launch in the past two years,” Patty Trevino, senior vice president, brand marketing at parent company CKE Restaurants, said. “As we head into 2020, the addition of these new Beyond Meat options at both restaurants is one of the many ways we’re continuing to deliver the innovation and quality Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are known for while appealing to new audiences including flexitarians, Gen Z, and millennials. We chose to partner with Beyond Meat for the brand’s commitment to offering delicious, high-quality, plant-based meat and believe the increase in Beyond Meat offerings will attract a broadening consumer base that is looking for more diverse protein options across all-day parts.”
