Disney Resort Debuts Bottomless Vegan Meat-Lovers Skillet

A vegan “all-you-can-enjoy” skillet loaded with barbecue jackfruit, spicy sausage, beefless tips, herb-crusted “trick’n chick’n” and roasted veggies is now available at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in Florida.

This week, the Walt Disney World Resort added a vegan Plant-Based Skillet to the dinner menu of the Whispering Canyon Café at its Wilderness Lodge in Orlando, FL. The new dish is part of Disney’s “all-you-can-enjoy” skillet meals and features an array of vegan meats. The skillet ($33) comes loaded with barbecue jackfruit, spicy sausage, mustard-glazed beefless tips, a “trick’n chick’n” breast brushed with herb sauce, roasted potatoes and carrots, sauteéd green beans, and charred peppers. In recent months, Disney has modernized its menu at its resorts with hearty vegan options, including adding Just Egg and Beyond Sausage breakfast options at its Centertown Market eatery at Disney World and offering Impossible Meat-filled lettuce cups and soyrizo tacos at Ballast Point Brewing—Disney’s first craft-beer taproom that opened in January at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
