Today, fast-food chain Dunkin’ added oat milk to the menu of its more than 9,000 locations nationwide. In January, the chain launched oat milk at select outlets in California and partnered with vegan influencer Tabitha Brown to announce the nationwide expansion of the option today on social media. The new oat milk—made by Planet Oat, a brand operated by 174-year-old company HP Hood, LLC—is available as part of Dunkin’s new Iced Oatmilk Latte, as well as a variety of hot and cold drinks and as a substitute to any milk option (additional charges may apply).

“Dunkin’ is proud to stand apart as the brand that democratizes trends and finds new and innovative ways to keep Americans running,” Jill Nelson, Vice President of Marketing Strategy at Dunkin’, said. “Bringing Planet Oat Oatmilk to Dunkin’ locations across the country is another way we are reinforcing our commitment to providing guests with more choices to customize their favorite coffee and espresso drinks.”

In July 2019, Dunkin’ began innovating its food menu with plant-based options with the test launch of the Beyond Sausage Sandwich—which is made on a vegan English muffin and features Beyond Meat’s plant-based sausage patty served with an egg and dairy-based cheese—at select locations in Manhattan, NY. After a successful test, Dunkin’ expanded the option—which can be ordered vegan by omitting the dairy cheese and egg—to all of its locations nationwide in November 2019.
