Female-Focused Brand to Debut Vegan Motorcycle Bag

This August, motorcycle gear company MotoChic will relaunch its Lauren Sport Bag with completely vegan materials. The bag—made from high-performing lightweight polyester—features a soft-lined pocket designed to fit a laptop, an LED light that illuminates the interior of the bag, reflective panels on the outside for on-road visibility, and the ability to convert to a tote for off-motorcycle use. This summer, the company hired five female motorcyclists to pass two bags to each other across the country, relay-style, to test the durability and functionality of the new vegan bag. Animal-free materials have proven to perform well across many applications, including car interiors, as seen in the introduction of vegan interior options by companies such as Tesla, Ferrari, and Bentley.
