Miyoko’s Creamery has launched new oat milk cheese. The brand’s Oat Milk Taco Blend Seasoned Shreds are designed for use in Mexican-inspired dishes, like tacos, of course, as well as nachos and dips, too. “This bold, zesty blend is designed to bring the joy of taco night to everyone,” CEO Stuart Kronauge said in a statement. “With a perfect balance of spice and meltability, Oat Milk Taco Blend Seasoned Shreds are another example of how we’re continuously redefining what’s possible in dairy-free cheese.”

Oreo brings back iconic blueberry pie flavor

Oreo has brought back an old fan favorite: Blueberry Pie. The fruity flavor was first launched in 2016, and then brought back in 2017, but sadly, despite its popularity, it has been missing from the shelves since. Until now. Blueberry Pie is back for a limited time this summer. The cookie will hit the shelves on July 7 and stay while supplies last.

US National Parks to offer more plant-based food options

Xanterra Travel Collection, which manages foodservice in several national parks across the US, including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Death Valley, and Mount Rushmore, has pledged to make half of all of its menu choices plant-based by the end of next year. The company is working alongside Mercy For Animals to implement the changes to its menus, which are offered to more than 3 million visitors every year. 

Don’t Eat The Homies launches vegan chocolate bars

Clothing brand Don’t Eat The Homies is branching out into candy. Right now, the popular vegan brand is crowdfunding a dairy-free Deth chocolate bar made with organic dark chocolate, quinoa crisps, coconut, plant protein, and lion’s mane. “This isn’t just a chocolate bar. Chris Paul’s plant-based snack brand hits Walmart shelves

Chris Paul’s plant-based snack brand Good Eat’n is launching in Walmart. Up until now, the brand’s snacks, like Hot Hot Puffs, Nacho Cheeze Tortilla Chips, and Cookies N’ Creme Popcorn, have only been available at H-E-B stores in Texas, but now, it’s going national. “Everyone loves the taste of Good Eat’n. We know once they try it, they love it,” Paul said in a statement. “Expanding with Walmart is such a proud moment, as it gets the snacks out there to more people.”

Daiya launches new spicy vegan cheese

Daiya has expanded its dairy-free cheese range. The popular Canadian brand has launched two new products, Chipotle Cheddar Shreds and Pepper Jack Slices. Each is made with Daiya’s own signature oat cream recipe. “These bold new cheeses show what dairy-free can really do—craveable heat, creamy melt, and no holding back,” said Daiya’s chief marketing officer, John Kelly, in a statement.

Papa John’s adds new plant-based meat to menus in Spain, Portugal, and the UK

Pizza chain Papa John’s first introduced vegan cheese pizza in 2019, and it hasn’t shied away from plant-based alternatives since. In the UK, the fast-food giant has added La Vie’s vegan bacon to its permanent menu, and in Spain and Portugal, it has partnered with plant-based protein brand Better Balance to improve its vegan options in the two countries. “Our focus is on making plant-based food enjoyable and accessible to more people, and Papa John’s commitment to quality and innovation aligns with that goal,” Florencio García, General Director of Better Balance in Europe, said in a statement.

Beyond Meat is the official plant-based protein partner of the Premier Lacrosse League

Beyond Meat has teamed up with the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) to provide athletes with plant-based protein as part of a multi-year partnership. As the official plant-based protein partner of the league, the vegan brand will provide all eight of its clubs with its signature plant-based meat products. Beyond Meat products will also be offered to fans at PLL events. “Lacrosse players demand the highest quality nutrition to compete at an elite level. Partnering with Beyond Meat will help support our athletes with the nutrition they need to perform at their best,” Paul Rabil, co-founder and president of the PLL, said in a statement.

Hospitals in Portugal are increasing their plant-based food options

Patients in Lisbon hospitals will soon have access to more plant-based food options. Four hospitals in the Portuguese city have partnered with ProVeg Portugal to offer more nutritious vegan choices under its Sustainable Meals Program. The partnership also involves tailored training for hospital staff and catering teams. “By introducing plant-based meals in hospitals and other institutions, we are showing how food and public procurement can be a powerful lever for climate action while promoting healthier lifestyles,” Joana Oliveira, Country Director of ProVeg Portugal, said in a statement.

Califia Farms launches pistachio and hazelnut barista oat milk

Califia Farms has expanded its range of barista oat milk in the UK with two new flavors: pistachio and hazelnut. Both products are available from Ocado, and will soon be available from Sainsbury’s, too. The Pistachio flavor, inspired by the Dubai chocolate trend, is also available at Morrisons and Tesco. “We’re seeing unprecedented demand for flavoured coffee experiences, particularly pistachio, which has become the breakout flavor of 2025,” said Damien Threadgold, Califia Farms UK and EU General Manager. “This launch strengthens our position as the UK’s leading plant-based barista range and demonstrates our commitment to innovation that meets real market needs.”

Indian dairy company launches first oat milk product

Country Delight, an Indian dairy company that operates in 11 states, has launched an oat milk product for the first time, called Oat Beverage. According to Chakradhar Gade, CEO and co-founder of Country Delight, the aim is to cater to the rising demand for dairy-free products in the country. “Our mission has always been to make India live better, and this product is another step towards offering wholesome, nutritious food choices,” he said in a statement.
