In 2023, Reese’s gave us vegan peanut butter cups, and we thought that our lives couldn’t get much better—until now. Reese’s has teamed up with Oreo to give us a new, tasty dairy-free and accidentally vegan snack: Oreo Cookie + Reese’s Peanut Buttery Creme. No, you’re not dreaming.
The collaboration between the two brands was announced back in August. “The rumors are true,” the company said. “The Reese’s and Oreo brands are answering fans’ call to collab and unite their iconic flavors with not one, but two new products for fans to enjoy.”
Alongside the new Oreo cookie, the brands also created the Reese’s Oreo Cup—but vegans be warned: the Reese’s Oreo Cup contains milk.

Where to find the new Oreo Reese’s cookie
The new cookies feature classic Oreos filled with Reese’s signature peanut buttery creme and cookie crumbs. They’re available now at major US retailers, while supplies last. The good news? They’ll officially join Oreo’s permanent lineup in 2026.
Michelle Deignan, Vice President of Oreo US, explained that the launch was driven by consumer demand on social media. “This collaboration redefines what it means to be a snacking leader by tapping into exactly what our fans are asking for,” she said.
“We’re always striving to break into the cultural conversation with unexpected and delicious partnerships.”
Dan Mohnshine, Vice President of US Confection Marketing for The Hershey Company, added that the collaboration is more than “just another product launch” and will “blow minds and taste buds everywhere.”
Vegan Oreo flavors
Oreos are a reliable vegan snack. In addition to the new Reese’s collaboration, classic flavors like Double Stuf, Mega Stuf, and Golden are all dairy-free. Many limited-edition flavors are plant-based, too. This summer, Oreo brought back its iconic Blueberry Pie and collaborated with Selena Gomez on a dairy-free Horchata cookie. For fall, it has also launched a new seasonal flavor: Apple Pie à la Mode.

Oreo has a reputation to uphold; it is known and beloved around the world for its innovative and unique flavor combinations. Because of that, it’s always trying to break the mold with something new—like a Reese’s collaboration, for example.
