Vegan Pop-Up Culinary Academy to Come to Miami
Options for the students of the world’s first vegan pop-up cooking school range from an introduction to raw cuisine to professional chef certification.

Beginning in February, Miami will be home to the world’s first pop-up vegan cooking academy. Called the Vegan Fusion Culinary Academy and headed by chef and cookbook author Mark Reinfeld, students can look forward to classes such as Introduction to Raw Food Cuisine or Intro to Tofu, Tempeh, and Seitan Dishes, while choosing from curriculum formats such as one- or two-day culinary courses or three-month intensive chef certifications. The academy also offers job placement support upon completion. Tuition will vary depending on the course, with prices ranging from $124 to $877. Reinfeld’s qualifications and accolades include 20 years of vegan and raw food cuisine experience, winning Vegan.com’s Recipe of the Year Award, and acting as the executive chef for the North American Society’s Summerfest since 2012.
