The light and aromatic flavors of rose lassi combine very well with thick and creamy mango lassi making this an amazingly refreshing beverage recipe from the blogger behind vegetarian and vegan food blog Cookilicious.
What you need:
2 cups cold vegan plain unsweetened almond milk yogurt, divided
1 cup frozen chopped mango
2 tablespoon powdered sugar, divided
½ teaspoon cardamom powder, divided
2 tablespoon rose syrup
½ teaspoon saffron
2 tablespoon chopped nuts
1 tablespoon rose petals, for decoration
What you do:
1. Into a blender, add 1 cup of yogurt, mango, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, and ¼ teaspoon of cardamom powder. Blend until smooth. Divide between two serving glasses.
2. Into a blender, add remaining one cup of yogurt, rose syrup, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, and ¼ teaspoon of cardamom powder. Blend until smooth, and pour on top of mango mixture in each glass. Top with saffron, chopped nuts, and rose petals.
