From now until August 2, delivery-only vegan restaurant We’re The Future (WTF!) and vegan meat brand THIS are hosting a Willy Wonka-style contest in London. Customers who order Golden Nuggets (edible gold-covered vegan chicken nuggets made by THIS) from WTF! through delivery platforms UberEats and Dilveroo can enter to win a year’s supply of vegan nuggets (288 nuggets per person) by posting a photo of their golden order on social media and tagging @wtf.burger and @this.uk.

“Our mission is to always leave people thinking ‘WTF!’—whether that be through our menu, the nutritional value of our burgers, or our choice of ingredients [which are] unprocessed, high in protein, and good for the gut,” WTF! Head of Marketing Salih Sheikh said. “Simply put, we are here to blow your mind, and what can be more mind-blowing than opening your delivery to find edible, glowing Golden Nuggets shining and shimmering in your face?”

Founded by restaurateurs Andy Shovel and Pete Sharman, United Kingdom-based startup THIS creates realistic vegan versions of bacon and chicken from soy and pea protein which are distributed throughout retailers and restaurants across the UK. “It’s really great to collab with WTF!—another brand that has defied the odds and actually grown during lockdown,” Shovel said. “This is definitely a golden opportunity to win some nuggs.”

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown orders, WTF! has reported a 200-percent increase in the sales of its vegan nuggets.
