Vegan cookie brand Partake Foods recently launched its allergen-friendly cookies at more than 1,600 Target stores nationwide. The brand’s classic crunchy cookie variety is available in Chocolate Chip and Birthday Cake flavors while its newly released soft-baked variety is available in the Cookie Butter flavor

Founded in 2016, Partake specializes in allergen-free cookies that founder, and former Coca-Cola executive, Denise Woodard created for her now five-year-old daughter. After leaving her job at Coca-Cola in 2017, Woodard sold cookies out of her car before a $1 million investment from Marcy Venture Partners, a venture capital firm co-founded by musician Jay-Z, helped boost Partake to a new level.

“It is truly a dream come true to see Partake transform from an idea to a brand you can find in nearly every Target in the US,” Woodard said. “I am so thankful that I can show my daughter that when you see a problem, you don’t sit on the sidelines waiting for a solution—you make one. Creating Partake and seeing it at Target is the culmination of so many years of hard work paying off.”

Partake’s cookies are also available through the company’s website and at retailers such as Sprouts, The Fresh Market, and Whole Foods Market (in the Northeast region).
