What’s hot at Trader Joe’s this month? The tiki-themed grocer is phasing out its short-lived Halloween products (goodbye, Halloween Joe Joe’s) and ushering in foods perfect for a Thanksgiving feast. The cans of pumpkin and squash displays are here to stay, along with seasonal dips and classic winter holiday products that spark seasonal merriment a little bit early.

Any regular TJ’s shopper knows these items won’t last long. Like the holidays, they’re often gone before you know it. Here’s a taste of some of the new, exciting, and craveable vegan Trader Joe’s products available this November.

Vegan at Trader Joe’s

Addictive Island Soyaki sauce, vegan mac and cheese, Hold the Dairy! Chocolate Mini Cones, Dill Pickle Mini Falafel, really cheap bananas … Trader Joe’s is a goldmine for runaway vegan products that entice a zealous following. This bi-coastal grocer makes shopping exciting with its new releases and continual output of intentionally plant-based fare. Customers look forward to tasty finds with every visit, and there are plenty of social media accounts dedicated purely to the products that line Trader Joe’s shelves.

No longer a specialty store, one can reliably get all the shopping done in a single trip to this vegan-friendly retailer. The brand has become a vegan haven through exciting releases of vegan products and seems to have its customers’ plant-based preferences in mind when developing novel concepts. It’s also invited high-profile vegan brands onto its shelves for a short stint, such as Miyoko’s and Impossible Foods

Now positioned as an innovator in all-things vegan, we look to Trader Joe’s for the latest in plant-based snacks, treats, and ultimately crave-worthy convenience.

17 hot vegan products at Trader Joe’s this month

1 Red Pepper, Cranberry, and Walnut Dip

Peppery romesco meets sweet muhammara with a punch of tart cranberry in this all-in-one dip. It’s one of those spreads you can pull off saying, “Oh, this? I made it myself! I just whipped up what I had on hand,” when others beg for the recipe. Or, you could tell them the truth and say it’s your latest Trader Joe’s obsession. Schmear it on vegan deli turkey sandwiches, stuff it into mushrooms, or simply swipe it up with a triangle of warm, fluffy pita bread.

2 Mini Peppermint Marshmallows

Ready or not, the winter holidays are here according to Trader Joe’s. These vegan-friendly marshmallows are delightful atop a peppermint mocha or melted in between a sandwich of dark chocolate and plant-based graham crackers. We’re still indulging in pumpkin-flavored treats, but we’ve got a bag of these stocked and ready for when we turn up our noses at anything cinnamon-nutmeg-allspice and reset our tastebuds with something minty and sweet.

3 Gingerbread Oat Latte

Cold brew is shaken with oat milk and ginger juice then spiked with cinnamon and nutmeg for this warm-weather fall beverage. It’ll wake you up with more than just caffeine—the ginger juice definitely gives this drink some zing. Best enjoyed chilled, it’s perfect for those occasional high-70s California November days or hard-core New Englanders who drink iced coffee regardless of what the weather app says.

4 O’Nog Non-Dairy Oat Beverage

Like a poorly executed fruitcake (properly baked ones can actually be tender, moist, and delicious) eggnog is one of those holiday traditions we could do without before going vegan. However, we’ve found that non-dairy iterations of this drink are not only tolerable but craveable. TJ’s vegan oat nog is tasty chilled or warmed, and so much cozier when stirred with a cinnamon stick.

5 Vegan Gingerbread Loaf

This moist and perfectly spiced quick bread is infinitely more satisfying than the vast majority of gingerbread folk we’ve gnawed on. It’s a solid choice for the endless parade of holiday potlucks when you simply don’t have the time to think of what to make, let alone actually make it. We also love buying this loaf just for ourselves, slicing off a thick piece after dinner, warming it in the toaster oven, and finishing it with a thick pat of non-dairy butter. Apple butter is another great pairing.

6 Portuguese Flor de Sal

Sweet or savory, finish any holiday dish or weeknight meal with a Salt Bae-worthy flourish of this new flaky sea salt from Trader Joe’s. It’s exceptional sprinkled over roasted vegetables, buttered muffins, or anything chocolate. Once you swap in flaky sea salt for traditional table salt, you’ll never go back. Welcome to the delightfully posh world of fancy salt.

7 Cracked Olive Salad

Among many things, Trader Joe’s does an excellent job with its condiments. This new briny accouterment is a fabulous accompaniment to thick focaccia sandwiches or polished bruschetta appetizers. Made with black and green olives, a trio of pickled vegetables, and capers in an herb-infused brine, we suggest that anyone who loves a good pickle stockpile this stuff.

8 Olive Fougasse

Beyond spooning the new Cracked Olive Salad out of the jar, these elongated, olive-studded breads are natural vessels for this condiment. We suggest giving them a good toast, a generous rub of garlic, and a thick layer of your favorite Trader Joe’s spread. Pure butter works, too.

9
Non-Dairy Oat Beverage with Pea Protein

Oat milk is indisputably creamy and wildly popular, but it’s not too impressive when it comes to protein content. While non-dairy milk like soy and pea contains 8 grams of protein per cup (the protein equivalent of a single serving of cow’s milk), oat milk lags at around 3 to 4 grams of protein per serving. TJ’s new spin on its oat beverage staple is enhanced with pea protein and now contains the protein equivalent of soy, pea, and dairy milk. Drink up.

10 Korean Beefless Bulgogi

Create your favorite plant-based Korean barbecue night at home with this frozen vegan bulgogi. True to its beef-based inspiration, this soy-based meat is slightly sweet, so pair it with your favorite spicy vegan kimchi and plenty of sticky purple (also known as black) rice.

11 Vegan Salmonesque Spread

You’ll either love or hate this schmear from Trader Joe’s. Made to resemble cream cheese and lox, it’s a natural match for bagels or dill- and caper-topped crostini. Give it a try; we’d love to hear your hot take on it.

12 Spanish-Style Rice

During the holiday season, those of us without a rice cooker rarely have time to make rice from scratch let alone infuse it with the lovely spices and rich tomato flavor of traditional Spanish rice. Trader Joe’s has delivered yet another weeknight dinner hack by producing this convenient frozen rice. Ready in less than five minutes, it’ll take you longer to sear your flour tortillas and sauté a bag of TJ’s frozen fajita veggies with vegan chorizo than it does to prepare this fluffy, flavor-forward rice.

13 Thanksgiving Stuffing Seasoned Kettle Chips

Similar to the Vegan Salmonesque Spread, not everyone will love these chips, but those who do get really, really excited when they return to Trader Joe’s shelves. We suggest easing your way in. Try them sprinkled on top of actual stuffing or in a Thanksgiving leftover sandwich. They’ll add flavor and crunch without being too overwhelming.

14  Gingerbread Cake & Cookie Mix

Fall is all about quick bread, and Trader Joe’s makes these sweet, dense loaves that much more convenient with its vegan-friendly baking mixes. This dry cake and cookie mix is vegan as-is; you’ll just need to swap the called-for egg and butter for plant-based replacements (see our vegan baking guide). Indulge in a slice of this crystalized ginger-studded loaf for breakfast, snack, or dessert … especially dessert.

15 Everything But The Leftovers Seasoning Blend

Customers went crazy for the Everything But the Bagel Seasoning and mushroom aficionados got giddy with the launch of the Multipurpose Umami Seasoning, but this seasonal blend may just edge out these worthy contenders thanks to its flavor-packed spice blend. It’s essentially Thanksgiving dinner in pixie dust form. Made with real spices like rosemary, celery seed, sage, and thyme, there’s no odd artificial flavor—just pure comfort in every shake. Try it in stuffing, roasted veggies, dips, or avocado toast.

Vegnews.tjscranberryorangeTrader Joe’s

16 Cranberry Orange Relish

It’s cranberry sauce, with a touch of citrusy sweetness. This orange-infused cranberry condiment is a welcome variation of this often too-tart holiday spread. Serve it at your Thanksgiving table (in a nice serving bowl) or alongside vegan cheese, crackers, and meats for a seasonal, plant-based charcuterie board.

17 Fresh Cranberry Sauce

Every year, families feud over the issue of the cranberry sauce. Some look forward to plopping a jiggy, can-shaped “sauce” on a plate every year, whereas others won’t settle for anything other than homemade. Enter Trader Joe’s with a tasty compromise: fresh cranberry sauce in a tub. It’s less processed than the canned variety but far more convenient than doing it yourself. Trader Joe’s cranberry sauce: making peace at the table since 1967.
