Iconic pop star Madonna visited Stella McCartney’s London boutique this week to snag herself a pair of sold-out vegan Adidas Stan Smith sneakers. McCartney posted a video of the visit to Instagram, showing legendary tennis star Stan Smith signing the new vegan shoes as Madonna twerked while commenting that they’re “comfy.” The shoes—a collaboration between McCartney, Smith, and Adidas—went on sale on September 10 and feature vegan leather made from recycled polyurethane, star designs on the sign in place of stripes, and original art embossed on the tongues. Elle reporter Faran Krentcil asked McCartney about how to achieve the healthy hair the designer sports on her portrait on the right tongue of the new shoes. “Easy,” McCartney responded. “Go vegan!”
